Founding Director, Platform Cooperativism Consortium

Trebor Scholz is an American academic, researcher and Founding Director of the Platform Cooperativism Consortium (PCC), a global initiative promoting democratic ownership and governance of digital platforms. He is Associate Professor of Culture and Media at The New School in New York City and Director of the Institute for the Cooperative Digital Economy. His work focuses on technology, digital labour, platform cooperatives and democratic ownership. He is the author of Uberworked and Underpaid and has contributed extensively to global discussions on fair and inclusive digital economies.

University of AlmerΓ­a, Spain

Cynthia Giagnocavo is an internationally renowned scholar, researcher and thought leader in cooperative studies, sustainable development and social innovation. She serves as Director of the Chair in Agriculture, Cooperative Studies and Sustainable Development at the University of AlmerΓ­a and currently chairs the International Cooperative Alliance Committee on Cooperative Research (ICA-CCR). Her work advances cooperative enterprises, collective entrepreneurship and sustainable economic development through innovative models of cooperation and social inclusion.

Regional Director, ICA Africa

Dr. Rose Karimi serves as Regional Director of the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) Africa. She provides strategic leadership in advancing cooperative development across the continent and works closely with governments, cooperative organizations and development partners. Her expertise includes cooperative governance, value chain transformation, youth and women empowerment, systems thinking and sustainable economic development. Her leadership continues to position cooperatives as drivers of social and economic transformation throughout Africa.
